A couple of weeks ago I was photographing the interior of the Action Center at the new Mercy Corps building in Portland, OR for Thomas Hacker Architects, the architects of the building. At some point this fall I’ll be photographing the whole building for them, inside and out, so stay tuned! Once I was done inside, I decided to take a walk onto the Burnside Bridge to try to find a suitable angle for an eventual high angle exterior shot. It was a beautiful, early October evening and I was lucky to have several the lights of the building turned on. Of course, I fired a way and got his shot. It’s an HDR (High Dynamic Range) image comprised of three diffrent exposures blended together.
