Shot Notes

It never ceases to amaze me how such a beautiful and peaceful place such as Sauvie Island exists just 20 minutes outside of a major metropolitan area. Okay, that last point might be debatable, Portland isn’t exactly a mecca of cosmopolitan activity, but still…it’s very much a city with the sanctuary of Sauvie Island nearby. It truly feels in some places on that island that one is in the middle of nowhere. I’m so glad it’s there, and so close. On this particular day, the weather was doing it’s usual early NW fall thing…showers, sun, showers, sun, all day long. It makes it hard to plan outdoor activities sometimes, but it also makes for some amazing light. A few more pictures form that afternoon can be seen on my Facebook page.

Very lovely. What a nice site. Good work, I’m sure they are all clamoring for you in OR.
